What is a Public Portfolio?

Public Portfolios are external, publicly-accessible pages attached to every user of Doremind. They are not there by default, every user has to intentionally create one inside of his Doremind account – either from the Settings page, or while in the Workspace Dashboard. Likewise, User can destroy their Public Portfolio page any time if they wish to do so.

Once created, a Public Portfolio will contain some of User’s contact information, as well as User’s records of achievements and involvements in projects recorded within Doremind. They will also display a detailed description of User’s role and performance score filled by other Users, thus improving credibility of this information.

Why to use Doremind Public Portfolios?

The most important between Doremind Public Portfolio and similar tools is the fact that it will be generated not by the User, but by the Doremind Ecosystem and community. As credibility of projects mentioned in a Public Portfolio will be determined by the actual existence of these projects within Doremind, User records in these Portfolios will be much more credible and legitimate.

Public Portfolios are designed as a great tool to prove the professional credibility of a User. As a result, Users working within the Doremind Ecosystem will be fundamentally motivated to grow, improve and perform well to have a good-looking Portfolio – which, in turn, will guarantee good positions and salary in the future.

We are working hard to introduce additional mechanics aimed to make Public Portfolios as unbiased, secure and credible as possible.

Are Public Portfolios safe to use?

Although Public Portfolios are made to introduce a variety of improvements to the Web Development industry, please keep in mind that they are, in their nature, publicly available in the Web. It is up to every User to adjust Privacy and Security settings related to their Public Portfolio page, they can be found in their Profile Settings.
