Hosting Providers, Servers, and Environments
Doremind allows you to organize and efficiently manage Hosting Providers, Servers, and Environments for your Projects, which together form the backbone of your web assets.
Hosting Providers
Hosting Providers are similar to Domain Registrars in that they form the base layer of your infrastructure. You must add a Hosting Provider first before you can add any servers. Select one of the providers from the built-in list, enter its URL, and assign it to a Client. You can either choose an existing Client or use yourself if it’s for your internal hosting account.
You can also store your login information for convenience. For security reasons, Doremind does not store access passwords.
Servers
Servers are the next step up, allowing you to register multiple servers under the same Hosting Provider. To add a Server, provide a clear name (e.g., “Alpha”), select the Hosting Provider it belongs to, assign it to a Client (use yourself if needed), and add extra details to keep things organized — such as server type or monthly cost.
Environments
Environments are where your websites actually live. A single website can have multiple Environments — for example, Production, Testing, or Staging — hosted either on the same server or on different servers.
When adding an Environment, simply:
-
Enter its name (e.g., “Production – Flowers Website”),
-
Assign it to a Project,
-
Select its renewal date to receive Telegram Bot reminders,
-
Choose a previously added Domain,
-
Fill in any other optional information to help you manage it easily.
Putting It All Together
Once you’ve added your Hosting Providers, created Servers under them, and set up your Environments, you’ll have a complete and organized view of your hosting infrastructure inside Doremind. This makes it simple to track all your assets, get renewal reminders, and keep your work environment under control.
Introduction
Modern Web development industry is one of the fastest growing in the world since the mid-1990s.
As of today, every modern business, large and small, is somehow presented in the Web – starting from a Social Media profile or a landing page, up to large eCommerce platform with complex infrastructure. But despite its rapid development, the industry still faces a number of consistent problems for Developers, Studios and Clients, which makes it more hostile for newcomers, and in a way – slows down its growth.Problems
Some of the most common industry’s problems are:- It is unstructured and chaotic. There are no universal steps of Web development process, and no tools to control and evaluate it.
- It is difficult to prove previous involvement in Web projects. Developers and Studios can easily claim authorship to any website, as well as easily lose it.
- Choosing the right developer for certain tasks can be a blind choice. Skills and past experience is often a matter of trust. An outsource developer can take advance payment and stop responding to messages, or prove to be underskilled for a job.
- Traditional paper-based NDAs often don’t work. Project design/code can easily be stolen or duplicated.
Solution
- Blockchain-based ecosystem which will organize relations between Web Projects, Developers, Studios and Clients.
- Also, an ecosystem which will help to optimize and automate internal process of running a Web Studio or being a freelancer, secure assets, intellectual rights and payment flow.
- Also, an ecosystem which will store information about all User's actions and past involvement in Web projects in a Blockchain, making it possible to generate User's automated decentralized Portfolio, which will be 100% credible and legitimate.
